Head of Robotics Laboratory

 Main Responsibilities

• Conducting research in selected area
• Annual and future projects planning
• Formation of laboratory’s research objectives and expected results 
• Academic mentorship in the framework of the laboratory research plan 
• Monitoring and quality control of work conducted by the employees and research partners
• Ensuring practical implementation of research results, supervision and technical assistance
• Work with patent applications and licensing of scientific and technical inventions and ensuring the registration of inventions and innovation proposals
• Ensuring the efficiency of the unit and rational use of work force.

Qualifications

• PhD degree (Russian equivalent: Candidate or doctor of science)
• Strong publication record
• A minimum of 5 years work experience in research and management 
• Excellent knowledge of the subject area
• Contract negotiations and management skills when collaborating with other institutions
• Experience with patent applications and technical documentation
• Upper-intermediate English level.
